John delivers Texoma the weather as a meteorologist at Channel 6. Or you may know him for being a drummer in the local rock/blues band, Romeo Whiskey. In fact, John won a drum solo contest hosted by Tarpley Music in 1999 and spent his teen years in Lawton as a neighbor to Steven Drozd, the musical mind behind the Flaming Lips. He now calls Wichita Falls home due to his wife's first job search out of college. John and his wife Meredith have a daughter, Eliza (18) and a son Quinn (14). His favorite style of dance is hip-hop and though he doesn't have one favorite style of music, John owns a considerable collection of rap music, probably more than most white-haired men in Wichita Falls. He is also a fan of craft beer, having sampled over 300 different craft brews over the past few years.
I play drums for the Wednesday country dance at the 50+ Zone.
Why say yes to DFTS?"I can't think of a better way to support the mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters. It would be even better if I didn't have to dance in public."
