Dottie Murphy Morrison
Dottie is a local attorney who grew up in Archer City. She taught first grade for nine years before attending the Houston School of Law. Dottie and her husband Lonny have two sons, David and Todd, and two daughters, Amy and Sara, along with seven grandchildren. She loves practicing yoga and being involved in the community. Her dream vacation is to go to Hawaii and she hopes to someday travel to New York City to see Hamilton. She told us one of the craziest things she has ever done is not marrying Lonny when she was eighteen years old. I think it's safe to say there's much more to that story.
Dottie has been involved with numerous organizations including United Way, Faith Refuge, Faith Mission, Decorator Show House, Fashion Night Out, Young Life, Straight Street, and Café’ Con Leche.
Why say yes to DFTS?"Because Big Brothers Big Sisters believes children are born with potential and each child can achieve success."
Mike is a professional actor/singer/dancer and is the Artistic Director of Backdoor Theatre. He is an Eagle Scout and enjoys riding horses when he gets the chance. He first came to the Falls to dance as a company member of The Wichita Falls Ballet Theatre. In addition to his avidness for horseback riding and James Bond movies, Michael also likes piña coladas and getting caught in the rain. NY credits include: Chicago; The Country Club; and Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol”. Regional credits include: A Chorus Line; Phantom of the Opera; Oklahoma!; Cats; Hairspray; Big River; and Westside Story. But, more importantly, Michael is thankful for the opportunity to dance again for such a great cause. After dancing the past two years, Michael has now joined up with Big Brothers Big Sisters, and is thrilled to be a Big for Freddie. This is about making a difference and sharing to help others. This dance is for you, Freddie!
