You probably recognize Brenna as the always-smiling morning news anchor and reporter for KFDX. This is a profession she always had her eyes on as she grew up idolizing Sanjay Gupta – the medical correspondent for CNN. She's not afraid to do what is needed for her career and this was evidenced on her first day at KFDX when she stood next to two rattlesnakes in high heels and a skirt. Brenna recently married her sweetheart Andrew on October 15th and together they have a Siamese cat named Piper. She is the middle child between two brothers. Brenna used to live in Japan as a church missionary and can speak Japanese. She plans to do more traveling as visiting Hawaii to snorkel and take a Polynesian dance class are at the top of her bucket list.
In addition to hosting community interviews on KFDX, Brenna is a Big Sister for BBBS and serves as a Board member for First Step, Inc, a youth group leader at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and emcees for various area fundraisers.
Why say yes to DFTS?"I love being a big sister and supporting this community. If I have to don heels and glitter to do it – all the better!"
You can find Luke on stage all over the Wichita Falls community theater scene or killing it at a karaoke contest! Luke works at the Wichita Falls Country Club and also as an intern for his church. Growing up, Luke wanted to be a professional lacrosse player and loves the outdoors. He'll sing, dance, and if you're lucky you might hear him rap! He also is a fan of Taco Bell and binge watching his favorite TV show Stranger Things.
Luke has a big family (1 brother and 3 sisters) and really looks up to his father. Someday Luke would like to scratch skydiving off of his bucket list or even perform on Broadway.
Luke is heavily involved with community theater in Wichita Falls. He serves at OneLife Community Church and is a part of the children's ministry there.
Why say yes to DFTS?"I love any way I can be involved in the community or development of Wichita Falls! Glad I am a part of it!"
